All the Right Type was first released in 1984 for the Apple II computer. The software was developed by Ingenuity Works Inc. (formerly known as Didatech Software Ltd.), a software company based in Vancouver, Canada. The original concept for the program came from keyboarding specialists, Ernest and Pat Beaucamp.
